Q: What does FAQ mean?

A
: FAQ mean Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What browser do you recommend for viewing this site?

A
: I highly recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer. While this site was designed with all browsers in mind, it works best with Internet Explorer.

Q: Why do you have ads on every page? They're annoying!

A
: While the ads my appear to be annoying, they are very necessary to the continuation of this site. This site runs on a "FREE" basis. The ads are what helps us keep this status. This site is done in my free time. I am a mother and I run several websites from my home. So like many of you my time is limited. Much of the cost to run this site comes from the ads. But most months it is not even close to enough to cover the sites overhead. The rest comes from my pocket. I do this to keep the site free for all. Without the ad revenue I would have to close down the site.
My intention when starting the page was to keep it free for all to use.

Q: All these ads are driving me nuts.

A
: First, you need to be specific on "all these ads". While to some one ad can be "all these ads" other may be talking about 10. If you are seeing more than the occasional pop up/ under on the site you may have a spy ware program on your computer. If you are getting hit with 3+ popups a page, then you most definitely have a spy ware on your computer. These ads are not coming from us, our keywords are just triggering them. You can download a free copy of Ad-Aware to get rid of these hidden programs. http://www.lavasoftusa.com

Q: How do I print just one title? How do I print without the ads and other parts of the site?

A
: These questions have several different answers. It really depends on the effect you are trying to get and the browser you are using. Find the one below that best suits you. In the future we plan to offer the title in printable book format for a low fee. But for now you can print what you want or all of the titles easily by following the directions below.

Cut and Paste (All browsers)

1. Point the mouse right before the first word you want to print. Press and hold down your left mouse button. Then drag the mouse to highlight the text that you would like to print. When you get to the last word, left go of the left mouse button.

2. At the top of the screen you will see a tool bar. Find and click on the word edit.

3. Click on the word copy. (Or skip step 2 and 3 and just press the "ctrl" key and the "C" key at the same time.

4. Open up a new document in your word processing program, such as Microsoft Word.

5. Again at the top of the screen of your word processing program you will see a tool bar. Find and click on the word edit.

6. Click on paste. (Or skip step 5 and 6 and just press the "ctrl" key and the "V" key at the same time.

7. The text should appear in the document. If you are sharing this information with anyone else, be sure to include out copy write on the page. Copyright 2004 by The Perfect Title. This the terms of use for this site.

8. With this method you can can even increase and decrease the test size.

9. When you are done copying and pasting the text that you want, next just print the document out as you would normal for your word processing program.

For Ms Internet Explorer You can print just a section of the page you want.
1. Point the mouse right before the first word you want to print. Press and hold down your left mouse button. Then drag the mouse to highlight the text that you would like to print. When you get to the last word, left go of the left mouse button.

Q: I am having trouble printing. When I print all I get is the ad.

A: Unfortunately this sometime happens with certain ads. But it is fixable. Either you can use one of the ways to print above, or you can simply refresh button on your browser. Another ad will appear. Then you should be able to print.

Q: This ad does not seem appropriate for this page. What do I do?

A: I have set strict guidelines for the type of ads The Perfect Title will except. the short version of our guidelines are no pornographic, casino, or betting ads. I do make every attempt to check each and every ad that is placed on our site by our ad agency. However sometime I will miss one. If you find an ad that slipped by us and our filtering system, please email and let us know so we can take care of it ASAP. I will need details. So when email please be as specific as possible about the ad.

Q: The print is too small to read, what can I do?

A
: We set our print at a standard small print to accommodate all browsers. Again the answer to this question depends on your browser.

Microsoft Internet Explorer:
Using the tool bar at the top, press on View. This will bring a new menu down. Then press text size. A menu will open to the side. You can pick your text size from there.

Netscape:
Using the tool bar at the top, press on View. This will bring a new menu down. Then press increase font as many times as needed.

Q: Your site is great but it's not enough. I need more titles.

A
: This site can only be as great as the visitors make it. While I have many title ideas and many original titles, there are still categories I have not done personally. If each visitor sends in a few titles a year, we should be bursting with new titles in no time. To share an title go here. We just ask that you check and make sure the title is not already on the site. That will save us all a lot of time.

Please email us with the error you found and the page you found it on. (Remember to please be polite. We have feelings too.)
